First Presbyterian Youth Group is not a very large group, but it is a group that makes a difference:
- The youth attend Sunday School regularly together, and that’s where they organize service projects for congregation members in need.
- We are not able to meet regularly, but when a need arises for one of our members, the group is quick to jump into action. This may include raking leaves, yard work, mucking out stalls, painting, cleaning, working events for younger youth in the church or whatever is needed.
- The youth also enjoy get togethers for devotions, movies, bowling, hiking, and other activities.
- The youth also have attended several mission trips and church camps together through the years. Several have attended mission trips, Ferncliff camps, REACH work camps, Montreat summer camps, and are even attending Triennium together this year.
