Enjoying One Another

Our members are proud of being a friendly outgoing church, and we welcome visitors and prospective members. We enjoy worshiping, eating and playing together. Being part of a family means helping others through love and support. We develop long lasting friendships. Members and visitors alike enjoy:
  • monthly potluck dinners following worship service (September through June)
  • ice cream social
  • Gospel sing-a-longs
  • Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper
  • Chili Cook Off
  • Sing & Ring Sunday
  • women’s luncheons and more.
Like a family, we are active in Christian programs through the Fellowship Committee, JOY groupWomen’s Ministry, & Choir.

Service

These programs and activities reach into every aspect of our lives, where we are committed to following the path God has provided for us:

  • Provide assistance, encouragement and support in our local community.
  • Support our local volunteer organizations such as Yellville Food Closet, Have a Heart Pet Shelter, MCNH Auxiliary Thrift Shop, The Call, and more.
  • Participated in local events as a church such as Bark in the Park and the Community Easter Egg Hunt.
  • Involvement with programs in the local schools such as the “Good News Club”, Mitten Tree collection and school supplies.
  • Participate in “Adopt a Highway” program and schedule 2 trash pickup days per year.
  • Provide support to the Women’s Ministry.
  • We support veterans, women and children in need, and those who are ill, in the hospital or nursing home, plus other needs in the community as they arise.
  • Our care team is designed to provide a ministry of love and concern to each member of our church family. Members who volunteer to serve for the care team ministry are responsible for keeping in contact with specific members, recognizing special events in their lives, and helping in times of illness, trouble, or death.
  • Our choir is an integral part of our worship service and a magnet to those who love music. All enjoy the Spring Sing.
  • Our hand chimes group practices each week on Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m. and ring for worship service once a month.
